The Ballycastle Rock & Blues Festival is back this summer, bringing a great weekend of live music right to the Antrim coast from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July.
It's a really relaxed, community-led weekend with a massive gig trail taking over local pubs, hotels, and venues all over the town. The line-up is looking great this year, featuring a brilliant mix of hardworking Irish blues-rock bands, soulful acoustic roots acts, and fantastic local talent.
Best of all, almost all of the gigs across the weekend are completely free admission, so you can just wander from venue to venue and enjoy the music at your own pace. A small handful of specific headline events might have a small entry fee at the door, but otherwise, you can just show up and dive right in.
