Sam Davidson's Taste Rock and Blues, Belfast

Sam Davidson's Taste are a power trio from Belfast carrying the spirit of the legendary Irish Blues Rock band Taste into the present day. Led by guitarist Sam Davidson, who was a member of Taste from 1995, the band play their own take on the raw, energetic Blues and Rock sound associated with the original group.

With Lyn McMullan on drums and Ali McKenzie on bass, the trio deliver a powerful, stripped-back sound built around guitar, bass and drums. Their music draws on the Blues Rock of the 1960s and 1970s, with the influence of Rory Gallagher and Taste at its heart.

The band's live performances combine the drive and intensity of classic Blues Rock with tight, no-frills musicianship. While staying faithful to the spirit and energy of Taste, Sam Davidson's Taste bring their own edge to the music, keeping the raw Irish Blues Rock sound alive for today's audiences.

For fans of Taste, Rory Gallagher, Blues Rock and the great guitar-driven music of the 1960s and 1970s, Sam Davidson's Taste offer a powerful live experience rooted in one of Ireland's most influential Blues Rock traditions.
