The John Mayall Project

In 1966 John Mayall and his band the Bluesbreakers released their debut studio album which became known as the Beano Album. The album pioneered a guitar dominated blues rock sound and helped launch the career of the legendary guitarist Eric Clapton. The John Mayall Project celebrates the 60th anniversary of this iconic album and is delighted to bring this fabulous collection songs to The Belfast Empire together with a selection of other great British blues & blues rock songs from many of the great guitarists who shared the stage with Mayall over the years, Eric Clapton as mentioned, Peter Green, Mick Taylor and Gary Moore to name but a few.

With sold out shows across the summer including the Openhouse Festival in Bangor, The John Mayall Project promise another superb night in the wonderful surrounds of The Belfast Empire Music Hall.
