The Niamh Strong Band
Niamh Strong is an Irish Blues, Soul and Jazz singer from a well-known musical family. She is the daughter of Blues singer Rob Strong and sister of Andrew Strong, best known for his role as Deco Cuffe in The Commitments.
Niamh began singing at a young age and has gone on to perform regularly around Ireland, both with her own band and as part of various live projects. Her music brings together Blues, Soul and Jazz, with a mix of original material and songs from artists who have influenced her.
In 2018, Niamh released Niamh Strong Sings Eva Cassidy, a 10-track album paying tribute to the American singer, whose music has been a major influence on her. She also released her original song Brighter Days in 2022, followed by Yesterday in 2026.
Niamh continues to perform live around Ireland, including her Songbird – Remembering Eva Cassidy tribute show.
