Niamh Strong is an Irish Blues and Soul singer and songwriter, and part of one of Ireland's best-known musical families. She is the daughter of legendary Blues singer Rob Strong and sister of Andrew Strong, best known for his role in The Commitments.

Niamh performs regularly across Ireland with her band, working with musicians including Mark Dudley on guitar, Diarmuid Lally on bass and Brendan Doherty on drums. She has appeared at Blues festivals including Howth Blues & Roots, Monaghan Harvest Time Blues Festival and Letterkenny Blues Festival.

We recently caught Niamh and her band at Harvest Time Blues in Monaghan. Andrew Strong was also performing at the festival, with Niamh joining him on stage to provide backing vocals. Their father Rob later joined Andrew on stage for a special performance, bringing the Strong family together on stage.

Alongside her live work, Niamh has released original songs including Lost Soul, Brighter Days and Work Hard. She also performs Songbird – Remembering Eva Cassidy, a tribute show based on her 2018 album dedicated to Cassidy.
