Skibbereen Soul & Blues Fest Upcoming Blues Concerts, Festivals & Events in Ireland

The Skibbereen Soul & Blues Festival is a fantastic weekend of live music down in West Cork, usually taking over the town around mid-August.

It's a lovely, community-focused festival sponsored by Heineken that really punches above its weight. The event fills the local pubs and venues with a top-class line-up, featuring everything from authentic, gritty delta blues and big soul sounds to international touring acts.

The vast majority of the gig trail throughout Skibbereen is entirely free admission, making it a brilliant, casual weekend to head down, grab a pint, and wander between the venues to catch some great live tunes.

2026 Headliner Note: Keep an eye out for ticketed headline slots too-this year they have a special concert with the acclaimed Liam Ó Maonlaí (of Hothouse Flowers fame) playing at the Tanyard on Thursday, 13th August.
