The Rob Strong Band (DTB Live Blues & Dancing) 29 January 2027, Arthur's Blues & Jazz Club, Dublin

Looking for a night of live Blues music and social dancing in Dublin?

DTB Live is a series of special events organised by Downtown Blues, a local group dedicated to bringing people together through Blues music and dance. Best known for its regular Blues dancing classes and social nights, Downtown Blues also hosts live music evenings featuring talented Blues bands. These events are a chance for dancers, music enthusiasts and anyone curious about the Blues to share a night of great music in a friendly, welcoming setting.

This time, they're welcoming The Rob Strong Band, fronted by the legendary Rob Strong. A familiar name to generations of Irish music fans, Rob has spent over 60 years performing Blues, Soul and R&B, both at home and around the world. Known for his distinctive, powerful voice and energetic stage presence, he has become one of Ireland's most respected and recognisable Blues and Soul performers. With such a wealth of experience behind him, this promises to be a special night for anyone who appreciates live music.

DTB Live takes place upstairs at Arthur's Blues & Jazz Club, where the front seating area is cleared to make room for a proper dance floor. There's plenty of space to enjoy the music, but don't be surprised if you find yourself joining the dancers before the night is over!

Expect a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great live music and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Blues.
