The Renegade Blues Band 21 November 2026, Bangor Rock & Blues, Bangor

The Renegade Blues Band are a ‘six piece’ powerhouse collective of seasoned players, featuring the exquisitely soulful guitar work of Paul Beattie (Whisky Road) and the commanding, gritty vocals of Bri Gil (Black Rose). Add in the soaring sax lines of Moose Campbell, the rich keys and blues harp of Pete McCarroll, the renowned groove of Dave McVeigh on bass and vocals, and the unmistakable percussion of local legend Laurence McKeown, and you’ve got a band that doesn’t just play the blues—they live it.

Famed for spine-tingling renditions of Layla to sax-driven classics like Baker Street, The Renegade Blues Band take audiences on a journey through blues, rock, and beyond. Expect Gary Moore, Beck, Clapton, John Mayall, Peter Green and much more. Their live shows are immersive, high-intensity, and deeply musical—blending virtuosity with raw emotion in a way that keeps crowds hooked from the first note to the final encore. If you’re after a band with real pedigree, presence, and passion, The Renegade Blues Band deliver every time.
