Groovin' at the Duck 18 July 2026, The Wild Duck, Dublin

Downtown Blues is bringing their first Groovin' at the Duck social night to life.

Downtown Blues is a Blues dance community based in Dublin that runs weekly classes and occasional social nights, sometimes with live bands. It has built a friendly community of dancers and music lovers who share a love for Blues music and social dancing.

On this occasion, Groovin' at the Duck is a relaxed social night with DJs playing Blues music for dancing. It is an easy-going evening focused on enjoying the music, spending time on the dance floor, and sharing the space with others who enjoy the same vibe.

For anyone who enjoys Blues music, this is a chance to see how it feels when the music is danced. No experience is needed, just listen to the music, take it in, and if it feels good, step onto the dance floor and give it a try.

Think you can't dance? That's usually exactly the kind of night that surprises people. Just relax, follow the music, and see where it takes you.
