Colm Skwirbat Band (DTB Live Blues & Dancing)

Looking for a night of live Blues music and social dancing in Dublin?

DTB Live is a series of special events organised by Downtown Blues, a local group dedicated to bringing people together through Blues music and dance. Best known for its regular Blues dancing classes and social nights, Downtown Blues also hosts live music evenings featuring talented Blues bands. These events are a chance for dancers, music enthusiasts and anyone curious about the Blues to share a night of great music in a friendly, welcoming setting.

This time, they're welcoming the Colm Skwirbat Band. Colm brings his own take on the Blues, drawing inspiration from Delta Blues, folk and Irish traditional music. With raw vocals, great storytelling and a sound that moves between acoustic Blues and Blues-rock, we're looking forward to having him and the band on stage!

DTB Live takes place upstairs at Arthur's Blues & Jazz Club, where the front seating area is cleared to make room for a proper dance floor. There's plenty of space to enjoy the music, but don't be surprised if you find yourself joining the dancers before the night is over!

Expect a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great live music and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Blues.
