More info about Gerry Quigley's Blues Band

Dublin guitar wizard and composer Gerry Quigley is known to many as the former lead guitarist of 70's Dublin heavy rock band Raw Deal.  Also of the short-lived Dublin band "The Half-Mad Irishmen" who recorded a No.1 hit song in Ireland with Thin Lizzy frontman Philip Lynott.  After 30 successful years living, touring and recording in Australia, where he was based in Perth with his blues rock and originals band The Shinkickers, in 2013 Gerry returned home to Ireland,

Gerry's awards and achievements over the years are many, including honorary life membership of the prestigious Perth Blues Club for his contribution to the Western Australian music scene, including a standing ovation at Perth Concert Hall with his Celtic rock band Raggle Taggle Gypsy, and taking the stage by storm with his classic rock band Live & Dangerous at the epic Bindoon Rock Festival.

Over the years Gerry has shared the stage with an array of international artists including Motorhead, Wishbone Ash, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Barnes and many more.  Major festival invitations include Ballyshannon Rory Gallagher Festival, Guitar Gods Australia, Bridgetown Blues, Fremantle Arts Festival, Great British Rock & Blues Festival along with many sold-out headline shows on his last Australian tour.

With jaw-dropping performances and his signature mesmerising instrumentals, it's no surprise that Gerry and his band continue to captivate the crowds where ever they play.  Gerry's legion of loyal followers continue to travel far and wide to see Gerry play, including from Australia to Ballyshannon last June!

Invited to some of the best festivals around the country, including Ballyshannon, Monaghan, Skibbereen,  Gerry and band recently proved their worth with a captivating performance at the Mallow Arts Festival debut, and are currently working on their next studio album.

The musical magic Gerry creates with his band will leave you spellbound - with powerhouse Frank "Muddy" McNally rocking the stage on lead vocals/bass, Clive "The Bull" Bolger on drums, and Sharon "Rockin' Rev" Quigley grooving on piano, hammond and synth.

If you get the chance to see Gerry & The Mystic Blues band at a live show, be sure to get your tickets early or you'll risk missing out.  This is one band not to be missed!
